Well, not really "fired," exactly, just taken off the work schedule by the owners while I got a Doctor's note from my cardiologist stating that I was safe to work. I did that, and was still not put on the schedule, for a month. I should have sued, but instead fell into depression, and then drove off, and that drive became longer, and then much longer. From SLO to Cambria and back, then to Eureka and back, then to Wisconsin and back just in time to go to Italy.
